Teach him to go back
Your dog knows how to lie down, sit down and even paw (already: Bravo!). Did you know that it was also possible to teach him how to back down? It's a trick that will take you a little longer than pawing but it's not very difficult to teach. 😬 It will also give you some space when your dog becomes a bit too invasive 😄
  1. The learning of hindsight is based on the principle of positive reinforcement and the use of a clicker.
  2. Start by creating a corridor, so that your dog can go back straight and guided by two "obstacles".
  3. Stand in front of the animal and move slowly toward him before he starts reverse gear.

  4. Once the dog steps back, click and reward him, then find your starting position.

  5. Associate click noise with an order, logically "backs up". Once the order is assimilated, your dog will begin to back off on his own. Then repeat the exercise without hindrance. That's it !
